Gundy confident in depth of Oklahoma State's wide receivers to help lead Cowboys' offense
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Mike Gundy believes Oklahoma State has some of the school's best depth at wide receiver this season.
The Cowboys coach, who helped produce former first-round NFL Draft picks Dez Bryant and Justin Blackmon, says the school has as many as a dozen wide receivers who are capable of starting this season.
Oklahoma State also has a proven commodity in junior Josh Stewart, who finished last season with 101 catches for 1,210 yards and seven touchdowns. He did so despite catching passes from three different quarterbacks.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Gundy has yet to choose a starting quarterback in advance of the season opener against Mississippi State in Houston, and Stewart expects the team's production at wide receiver to continue regardless of who is at quarterback.
