Girardi sets Yankees' 25-man roster for ALDS vs Orioles
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}New York Yankees manager Joe Girardi has placed 11 pitchers on the team's 25-man roster for the AL divisional series against the Baltimore Orioles.
In addition to projected starters CC Sabathia, Andy Pettitte, Hiroki Kuroda and Phil Hughes, the Yankees will have right-handers Joba Chamberlain, Derek Lowe, David Robertson, David Phelps and Rafael Soriano. The left-handed relievers are Clay Rapada and Boone Logan.
The Yankees will have two catchers, Russell Martin and Chris Stewart. The infield includes backups Jayson Nix, Eduardo Nunez and Eric Chavez.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Brett Gardner and Raul Ibanez are listed as outfielders, along with regulars Curtis Granderson, Ichiro Suzuki and Nick Swisher.
The best-of-five series begins Sunday night.
