Garrison scores 22, Larson adds 16 boards to lead Grand Canyon over Lamar 78-69
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Jerome Garrison scored 22 points and Killian Larson had a game-high 16 rebounds to lead Grand Canyon to a 78-69 victory over Lamar Saturday.
Garrison was just 5 of 15 from the floor, but a perfect 10 of 10 from the line. Larson, who ranks seventh among Division I players by averaging 12.7 rebounds per game, added 11 points.
Grand Canyon (3-3) and Lamar (1-5) complete their third game in three days in the Global Sports Hoops Showcase. Both Grand Canyon and Lamar defeated Savannah State while losing to host Utah.

Rhon Mitchell scored 22 points to lead three Cardinals in double figures. Octavius Green had a team-high 11 rebounds.
