Sunday's STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway is expected to have a full field of 40 cars for the first time since the season-opening Daytona 500.

Kevin Harvick, the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion, heads into the sixth race of the season with the points lead, followed by two-time 2016 race winner Jimmie Johnson and Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch.

The Martinsville race marks a return to traditional NASCAR country after the three-race "West Coast Swing" and an off-weekend for Easter.
