Frittelli cruises to 3-shot win in Austria
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}St. Veit-Langsee, Austria (Sports Network) - Dylan Frittelli closed with an even-par 71 on Sunday and cruised to a 3-shot win at the Karnten Golf Open.
Frittelli finished at 17-under-par 267 in his first Challenge Tour win.
The South African tripped to a bogey at the first, but came right back with a birdie on the par-5 second. After six pars in a row, he birdied the ninth to make the turn at minus-18. For the week, Frittelli played the ninth in 5-under par with three birdies and an eagle.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Around the turn, he parred the first six holes before tripping to a bogey at the par-5 16th. Frittelli parred the final two holes to close out the victory.
Dean Huizing (66) and Filippo Bergamaschi (68) shared second place at minus-14. Huizing started his round with a hole-in-one on the first.
Andrew McArthur shot 66 to take fourth at 13-under 271.
