Fitzgerald, Harper, Hester named NFC players of the week

Arizona wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, New Orleans safety Roman Harper and Chicago's Devin Hester have been honored as the NFC's top players for Week 10 of the NFL season.

Fitzgerald earned his first career weekly award after recording seven catches for 146 yards and two touchdowns in the Cardinals' 21-17 victory against Philadelphia. In addition to his two scores, he had a 37-yard catch in the fourth quarter to set up the game-winning touchdown.

Harper earned the defensive honor after totaling 13 tackles, one sack and one pass defensed in the Saints' 26-23 overtime win at Atlanta.

Hester was the special teams player of the week. He had an 82-yard punt return for a touchdown in the Bears' 37-13 victory against Detroit, and finished with 122 yards on three punt returns. Hester, who is tied with Hall of Famer Deion Sanders for most combined return touchdowns in NFL history (19), picked up his 12th career special teams player of the week award.
