FIFA president Sepp Blatter says holding World Cup in the Qatari summer is 'a mistake'

FIFA president Sepp Blatter says it is "a mistake" to hold the World Cup in the searing summer heat of Qatar.

Blatter, speaking to Swiss broadcaster RTS, says "well, a mistake. A mistake. You know, one makes many mistakes in life. The technical report on Qatar clearly indicated that it was too hot in summer."

Blatter says it is "more than likely" that the 2022 event will be moved from the hot summer months to the winter.
