Ferrer advances in Paris
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Paris, France (SportsNetwork.com) - David Ferrer moved into the third round of the French Open with a 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 win over Italian Simone Bolelli on Thursday.
The fifth-seeded Spaniard improved to 13-0 all-time against qualifiers at a Grand Slam and reached the third round at Roland Garros for the 10th straight year.
Bolelli has yet to win a set in five career matches against the 2013 French Open runner-up.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}No. 19 Kevin Anderson of South Africa also advanced, beating French wild card Axel Michon 6-2, 6-3, 6-2, while No. 26 Feliciano Lopez of Spain lost 6-3, 7-6 (7-1), 6-3 to American Donald Young.
