Paul McGinley is calling it a career in the Ryder Cup, and it ended on a perfect note.

McGinley has never lost in the Ryder Cup as a player, an assistant and now a captain. He put together another formidable team for Europe and called all the right shots at Gleneagles in another dominant display over the Americans.

After a celebration that lasted into the early morning hours Monday, McGinley says he won't take part in another Ryder Cup in an official capacity.

He will be among three former captains who will decide the next leader for a European team has won eight of the last 10 in the Ryder Cup. McGinley also is looking forward to getting back to his own game. He plans a full schedule next year.
