Dunbar has double-double, Knorr hits late free throws as Navy takes 69-59 victory from Bryant
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Tilman Dunbar produced a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists and Kendall Knorr had 15 points as Navy beat Bryant 69-59 Monday night in a nonconference contest.
Knorr was 7 of 8 from the foul line for the Midshipmen (6-6), with all of his attempts coming in the final 40 seconds to ensure victory.
The Bulldogs (5-4) were led by Joe O'Shea's 15 points and Vlad Kondratyev's 11 points and nine rebounds.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Dyami Starks, who entered as Bryant's leading scorer with 18.3 points per game, was limited to eight points and shot 1 of 9 from 3-point range. He hit six 3-pointers in the team's game against Binghamton Saturday and entered averaging a Northeast Conference-best 3.25 treys per game.
The teams were tied 53-all with under 6 minutes left when Dunbar hit a layup to spark a 9-2 run before Knorr iced the game with his free throws.
