Duke's Gray undergoes knee surgery

Durham, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Duke point guard Chelsea Gray underwent right knee surgery on Friday to address a fractured kneecap, ending her career with the Blue Devils.

Gray, a two-time All-American, got hurt in a Jan. 12 win over Boston College. This is the second straight year her season was cut short due to a right knee injury.

Gray was averaging 10.8 points, 7.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.9 steals per game as a senior. She finishes her career just 35 assists shy of Duke's all- time mark.
