Dolphins cornerback Richard Marshall out against Bengals, replaced by Nolan Carroll
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Nolan Carroll is starting at cornerback in place of the injured Richard Marshall for the Miami Dolphins' game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Marshall missed practice all week with a bad back, forcing the Dolphins to scramble their secondary for a game against one of the NFL's top pass-and-catch tandems of Andy Dalton and A.J. Green.
The Bengals had both of their cornerbacks active Sunday. Nate Clements (calf) and Leon Hall (hamstring) missed a win over Jacksonville last week. Clements returned but started at safety for the second time this season, with Terence Newman taking over at cornerback opposite Hall.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Defensive end Carlos Dunlap was active for the Bengals but wasn't in the starting line rotation. Dunlap missed the first two games of the season with a sprained knee.
