Dillon wins another Nationwide pole at Daytona

Austin Dillon continued his dominance in Nationwide Series qualifying this season by winning the pole for Friday night's Subway Firecracker 250 at Daytona International Speedway.
Dillon posted a qualifying lap at 178.934 mph around this 2.5-mile superspeedway. He has won the pole in six of the last seven Nationwide races -- Charlotte, Dover, Iowa, Michigan, Kentucky and Daytona. He finished 14th in qualifying at Road America last month.
Travis Pastrana earned the outside pole with a lap at 178.448 mph. Dillon's younger brother, Ty, a Camping World Truck Series regular, qualified third. Brian Scott was fourth and Sam Hornish Jr. fifth.

Justin Allgaier, Kurt Busch, who won this race one year ago, Trevor Bayne, Elliott Sadler and Brad Sweet completed the top-10.
Points leader Regan Smith will start 11th in the 250-mile race at Daytona, which is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. ET.
