Detroit SS Iglesias to start season on DL
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Lakeland, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Detroit Tigers shortstop Jose Iglesias will begin the 2014 season on the disabled list.
The club made the announcement on Sunday, adding that the 24-year-old is scheduled to see foot and ankle specialist Dr. Thomas Clanton in Colorado on Tuesday.
According to a report Saturday on Mlive.com, Iglesias has been bothered by a shin injury which has kept him out of action for the last two weeks.
