Dean, Hill lead Idaho in 76-75 comeback win over Portland State
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Glean Dean scored a game-high 26 points and Connor Hill added 21 and Idaho came from behind Saturday night to beat Portland State 76-75.
Trailing 36-34 at halftime, Idaho (5-6) took a 45-43 lead at 15:43 on a 3-pointer by Hill, but Portland State (4-4) fought back and the lead traded hands six more times until Stephen Madison's layup at 4:30 gave Idaho a 68-67 edge. Portland State's DeShaun Wiggins hit a 3-pointer with 50 seconds to play make it a 1-point game and the Vikings called a timeout to set up a final play, but Hill stole the ball and time ran out.
Dean and Hill each scored five 3-pointers and Idaho outshot Portland State 54 percent to 49.1 percent. Madison added 14 points for the Vandals.
