Cubs activate Ramirez

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Cubs activated relief pitcher Neil Ramirez off the 15-day disabled list Sunday.
Ramirez had been sidelined with right triceps soreness.
Ramirez, 25, has an 0.96 ERA over 33 games this season with 36 strikeouts in 28 innings.

Chicago also added pitcher Jacob Turner to the major league roster, optioned pitcher Chris Rusin to Triple-A Iowa and placed pitcher Brian Schlitter on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder inflammation.
Turner was acquired via trade with the Marlins last week.
In 53 relief appearances this season with the Cubs, Schlitter is 2-3 with a 3.47 ERA.
