Cubs activate Jackson to start vs. Dodgers
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Cubs activated right-hander Edwin Jackson from the 15-day disabled list to start Friday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Jackson had been out since Aug. 21 with a right lat strain.
The 12-year veteran is 6-14 with a 6.09 ERA and 123 strikeouts in 139 innings in 26 starts this season.
