Crystal Palace hires Neil Warnock for a 2nd spell as manager, taking over from Tony Pulis

Neil Warnock has been hired by Crystal Palace for his second spell as the manager of the Premier League club.

Palace has been without a manager since Tony Pulis quit two days before the start of the new season.

The 65-year-old Warnock, who has signed a two-year deal, spent 2½ years at Palace from 2007-10. He has been without work since leaving Leeds in April 2013.

Warnock has coached 13 clubs since 1980 and has experience managing in the Premier League with Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield United.

Palace has lost its first two games of the season.
