Could the Chiefs land the top overall NFL Draft pick in 2016?

Another top overall draft pick could land in Kansas City if their slide continues.

If the season ended today, they would pick seventh. But the team which would hold the top choice -- Detroit -- is only one loss worse than the Chiefs.

The Chiefs and Lions will battle in three weeks' time in London. The loser of that game might have the inside track on picking first in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Other teams currently slated to pick ahead of K.C. include the Saints (2), Texans (3), Jaguars (4), Ravens (5), and 49ers (6).

Should the Chiefs top those teams and claim the No. 1 spot, it'd be the second time they've picked there in four drafts.
