Coach Mike McCarthy signs contract extension with Green Bay Packers
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Coach Mike McCarthy has signed a contract extension with the Green Bay Packers.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed Monday.
McCarthy is in his ninth season with the team. He led the Packers to a Super Bowl title after the 2010 season. His contract was last extended following that championship.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}General manager Ted Thompson had his deal extended in July.
Green Bay has also won four division titles and made six playoff appearances under McCarthy.
