GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Clay Matthews has missed a second straight day of practice after coach Mike McCarthy said he was holding out the Green Bay Packers' star linebacker as a precaution because of knee soreness.
Matthews watched in a white cap on the sideline while teammates went through practice Tuesday morning.
Matthews has been to five Pro Bowls. He insisted Monday that he would be fine.
