Chuck Martin takes over struggling football program at Miami (Ohio), gets 5-year contract

Notre Dame's offensive coordinator takes over a team that failed to win a game last season (0-12), only Miami's fourth winless season since 1900. The RedHawks are 8-28 over the last three seasons.
Martin was introduced on Wednesday, a day after agreeing to become the next coach. He is the latest addition to the "Cradle of Coaches," a legacy that includes Notre Dame's Ara Parseghian.
