Charley Hoffman with another low round at Deutsche Bank, just not the same day
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Charley Hoffman had another low round at the Deutsche Bank Championship. This time, it didn't come with a trophy.
Hoffman made birdie on half of the holes at the TPC Boston for an 8-under 63, giving him a three-shot lead among the early starters in the second round Saturday. Five years ago, Hoffman closed with a 62 when he won the Deutsche Bank.
Jordan Spieth, who was trying to avoid consecutive missed cuts for the first time in his career, played in the afternoon.
