Charleston Southern rallies to beat The Citadel 33-20

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Mike Hollway ran for three touchdowns, Darius Hammond ran for another and Charleston Southern rallied to beat The Citadel 33-20 on Saturday.

Hurt by two interceptions and a missed field goal, the Buccaneers (3-1) were trailing 20-19 in the fourth quarter when Caleb Batchelor recovered a fumble by Dominique Allen. Austin Brown converted on fourth-and-6 with a 10-yard pass to Hammond, and then Hammond ran 21 yards on the next play for a 25-20 lead.

Hollway scored his third rushing touchdown on the Buccaneers' next possession and gained 172 yards on 17 carries. Hammond had 129 yards on 15 carries.

Brown was 17 of 29 with 183 yards and two interceptions, both of which resulted in scores for the Bulldogs (2-2).

Charleston Southern had 306 yards rushing to 181 yards for The Citadel, which entered the game leading the FCS with 398 rushing yards per game.
