Cardinals' Wong named NL Rookie of the Month
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong was named Tuesday as the National League rookie of the month for May.
Wong batted .333 with a .418 on-base percentage in 13 games during the month.
He was the first Cardinals player to earn the award since infielder Brian Braden in April 2009.
