Canadian hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser says 2014 Sochi Olympics will be her last

Canadian women's hockey star Hayley Wickenheiser says the 2014 Sochi Olympics will be her last on the national team.

The four-time Olympian made the announcement Thursday at the world hockey summit in Toronto.

The 32-year-old forward has been a member of the Canadian team for 17 years. She was captain of the Olympic team that won gold at the Vancouver Games. The Canadian women defeated the United States 2-0 for their third straight Olympic title.

Wickenheiser is a keynote speaker at the summit. Topics at the summit include concussions, player safety and strengthen the women's game.
