Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin is tinkering with the starting lineups in an effort to shake his team out of an 0-4 start.

Defensive end Cameron Heyward will start Sunday when the Steelers face the New York Jets. Tackles Kelvin Beachum and Levi Brown will compete for the spot left open when Mike Adams was demoted following a miserable performance in a loss to Minnesota two weeks ago.

Tomlin said rookie Vince Williams will see the majority of snaps at inside linebacker next to Lawrence Timmons.

There could be additional moves over the coming days, though they would likely be based on injury, not performance.

Tomlin said he's encouraged by his team's effort during the bye week and is anxious to get back to work.
