Bulls ink Mike James to 10-day contract
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Chicago Bulls have signed guard Mike James to a 10-day contract.
James appeared in seven games with Chicago earlier this year and averaged 0.3 points and 0.9 assists before he was waived on Dec. 16.
The 11-year veteran was brought back to be a short-term backup to point guard D.J. Augustin, as Kirk Hinrich is currently day-to-day with a hamstring injury sustained during Chicago's game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday. The Bulls also traded guard Marquis Teague to Brooklyn on Tuesday.
