Bulls breeze past Cavs

Chicago, IL (SportsNetwork.com) - Carlos Boozer led six Chicago players in double figures with 19 points while pulling down nine rebounds to lead the Chicago Bulls to a 100-84 throttling of the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday.

D.J. Augustin added 18 points and 10 assists and Joakim Noah added 11 points and 18 rebounds for the Bulls, who snapped a four-game skid.

"I love to get my teammates involved. That gives me confidence in my offense," Augustin said.

Tony Snell scored 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc.

"I loved the way Tony Snell played," said Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau.

Andre Bynum poured in a team-high 19 points and Kyrie Irving added 14 points on just 5-of-16 shooting for the Cavaliers, losers in three of their last four games.

"There's no excuses, we just didn't execute on both ends of the floor," Irving said.

Chicago opened the game on a 14-6 run and led 33-26 after 12 minutes.

The Bulls' lead dwindled to four points, 43-39, after an Irving jumper at 5:47 of the second, but a 15-2 burst from Chicago made it 58-41 and the hosts held a 60-43 edge at the break.

Cleveland rallied to pull within seven, 68-61, after Bynum knocked down a long jumper with 4 1/2 minutes left in the third, but the Bulls responded with yet another run to take an 81-65 lead into the final frame.

Matthew Dellavedova's trey at 8:33 of the fourth cut the visitors deficit to single digits, but the Cavs were held to just eight points the rest of the way as Chicago cruised to victory.
