The Buffalo Bills have placed Mana Silva on the exempt-left squad list after the backup safety left training camp without being excused.
The NFL granted the Bills permission to make the move Tuesday, a day after Silva left camp before the team's scrimmage in suburban Rochester.
Silva's agent, Josh Arnold, told The Associated Press that his client is re-examining his priorities after experiencing some recent personal issues. Arnold hopes Silva will return to playing football soon.

The Bills signed Silva to their practice squad last October after he was cut by Dallas. He was added to the Bills' active roster a month later, and appeared in seven games.
An undrafted free agent out of Hawaii, Silva also appeared in five games split over two seasons with Dallas.
