Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller could be called as a witness in the death penalty case against a man accused of stabbing five people to death in a Denver bar in October.
Miller is among more than 100 potential witnesses in the case. He is listed as a possible acquaintance of suspect Dexter Lewis, but there is no indication Miller had ever met or knew anyone in the case.
According to the Denver Post (http://tinyurl.com/ms28m6g ), Miller could be called to testify in the sentencing phase of the trial if Lewis is found guilty.
