Braves' Teheran loses perfect game, no-hitter against Phils
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}ATLANTA (AP) Julio Teheran of the Atlanta Braves lost his bid for a perfect game against the Philadelphia Phillies when Freddy Galvis lined a single up the middle leading off the seventh inning.
Teheran struck out six and walked none through six innings.
The 24-year-old right-hander received an ovation from the small crowd at Turner Field after the single by Galvis.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Teheran was helped by strong defense in the first inning Sunday. Atlanta second baseman Jace Peterson made a leaping catch of a liner hit by Odubel Herrera to end the inning.
