Boselli's brace leads Leon past Monterrey
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Leon joined a crowded group at the top of the Mexican Apertura after a 3-1 home victory against Monterrey behind two goals from Mauro Boselli.
Monterrey took the lead midway through the first half with a goal from Humberto Suazo, but Leon came back after the break to equalize courtesy of a penalty kick from Boselli.
Omar Arellano was sent off for Monterrey in the 62nd minute, and Leon took advantage by scoring twice in the final 10 minutes.

America continued its impressive start with a fourth win in five games as Luis Mendoza scored a pair of second-half goals in a 3-1 win over Morelia, which entered the weekend in the top spot.
Atlante used a late penalty kick from Roberto Nanni to earn a 1-1 draw with Pachuca, Mauricio Romero scored twice in the second half to help Jaguares rally for a 2-2 draw at Tigres, while Atlas and UNAM played to a 1-1 stalemate as Omar Bravo's second-half tally canceled out a first-half opener from UNAM's Ariel Nahuelpan.
