Bolts edge Flames in OT
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - Ondrej Palat scored the game-winning goal in overtime as the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Calgary Flames 2-1 on Tuesday night.
Valtteri Filppula tied the game with 2:16 left in regulation and Palat's tally came three minutes into overtime.
Anton Stralman drove a right point slap shot on net and Palat lifted his backhand past Karri Ramo for the deciding marker.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Evgeni Nabakov made 21 saves for the Lightning, who improved to 4-2-1 so far on the young season.
The third-overall pick in 2013, Jonathan Drouin, notched an assist for his first career point in his second game.
Dennis Wideman scored the lone goal for Calgary, which was coming off a 4-2 road trip. Rammo stopped 20 shots in defeat.
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The game was scoreless through the first two periods until Johnny Gaudreau knifed through the middle of the ice and dished to his right to Wideman, whose one-timer found the back of the net on a power play 1:12 into the third.
"Johnny basically drew everyone in the rink to him," Wideman said.
A few minutes after Steven Stamkos hit the post on a shot in close, Filppula put home a rebound to knot the game at 1-1.

Game Notes
Calgary was 1-for-2 on the power play, while Tampa Bay didn't have a power- play opportunity ... Wideman's goal was his third of the year.
