Blue Jackets place Skille on IR
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Columbus, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - The Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday placed forward Jack Skille on injured reserve, retroactive to Jan. 9.
Skille has been out of action since sustaining a lower-body injury last Friday against the Toronto Maple Leafs and is expected to be sidelined for another week.
The 27-year-old right-handed shooter has totaled just five goals and seven points over 35 appearances for Columbus this year.
