Berahino on the double as West Brom thrashes Burnley

West Bromwich, England (SportsNetwork.com) - Saido Berahino scored on either side of the intermission on Sunday as West Bromwich Albion rolled to a comfortable 4-0 rout of Burnley at the Hawthorns.

The Baggies entered the match riding a nice wave of confidence following last week's 1-0 win over Tottenham-Hotspur at White Hart Lane, and the club got their noses out in front early with some excellent set-piece execution in the 30th minute as Craig Dawson opened the scoring with a fantastic header.

Berahino doubled his side's lead on the stroke of halftime as the academy product got on the end of a flicked header at the back post from Graham Dorrans and nods it home to give the Baggies the 2-0 lead.

In the second half, Burnley, which entered with a stout defensive record, had little answer for West Brom and Berahino made it 3-0 two minutes into the second half when he got free down the right side of the pitch and ripped a low strike into the bottom right corner, leaving Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton with no chance for a save.

Dorrans put an exclamation point on the performance, firing home the fourth goal in stoppage time, to hand his side all three points. West Brom have won consecutive Premier League matches for the first time in a year, while Burnley drop to the bottom of the table.
