Bennett, Glass out long term with injuries

Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Pittsburgh Penguins announced on Tuesday that a pair of forwards will be out for significant periods due to injury.
Head coach Dan Bylsma revealed that Beau Bennett underwent surgery on his wrist and will be lost for 8-to-10 weeks, and that Tanner Glass broke his hand on Saturday in Montreal and is out for 3-to-4 weeks.
Bennett posted three points in 12 games this season, while Glass totaled six points in 24 contests.

In addition, defenseman Paul Martin will not participate in Wednesday's game against Toronto with a lower-body injury.
Pittsburgh also made a pair of roster moves, assigning forward Brian Gibbons to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and placing forward Matt D'Agostini on waivers.
