Bayern's Ribery sidelined after operation
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Munich, Germany (SportsNetwork.com) - Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery will miss Saturday's match at Nurnberg after he was forced to undergo a minor operation to repair a burst blood vessel in his buttock.
Ribery is expected to stay in the hospital until Sunday, and he will undergo another exam on Monday before a timetable for his return can be set.
The 30-year-old had just recently returned from injury in Bayern's 5-0 victory over Eintracht last weekend, while the Bavarians will have to do without the winger as they attempt to extend their unbeaten run in the Bundesliga to 45 games.
