A's name starters for first two games of ALDS

Oakland Athletics manager Bob Melvin on Friday announced his starters for the first two games of the upcoming American League Division Series.

Jarrod Parker (13-8, 3.47 earned run average) will get the nod in Detroit for Saturday's Game 1, while Tommy Milone (13-10, 3.74 ERA) will take the hill for Game 2 on Sunday.

Oakland made a miraculous rise to the AL West title, erasing a 13-game deficit over the Texas Rangers to clinch the crown on the season's final day.
