Angels reinstate Nelson from DL
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim activated infielder Chris Nelson from the 15-day disabled list prior to Tuesday's game against the Oakland Athletics.
Nelson was placed on the DL on Aug. 29 with a strained right hamstring.
The former Colorado first-round pick has hit .220 with three home runs and 18 RBI in 33 games since being claimed off waivers by the Angels from the New York Yankees in May.
