Andre Ellington says he studied Chris Johnson's game growing up

Andre Ellington doesn't feel threatened with the addition of Chris Johnson to the backfield.

In fact, Ellington had nothing but praise for Johnson when addressing reporters after the signing became official.

"As many players as we can get in here to help us win a championship, I'm all for it," Ellington told reporters, via AZCardinals.com. "He's a legend. He's a guy that I can learn a lot from, so I'm looking forward to it."

Ellington acknowledged the two have similar games and he studied tape of Johnson throughout high school and college.

"I learned a lot from his skillset," Ellington said. "Just how he set up blocks, things like that, how he hit the hole and made guys miss."

If Johnson can recapture some of his form that made him a 2,000+ yard rusher back in 2009, he and Ellington could make for a dangerous backfield combo come fall.
