Alabama State tabs Jenkins as next football coach
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Montgomery, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Alabama State named Brian Jenkins its next head football coach on Tuesday.
Jenkins comes over from Bethune-Cookman, where he spent five seasons and brought the Wildcats to three FCS postseasons. Bethune-Cookman went 46-14 during Jenkins' tenure.
Jenkins, 43, was previously an assistant coach for 16 years in collegiate and professional football.
