The bout between Floyd Mayweather and Marco Maidana was the ticket highlight, but that didn’t stop boxer Adrien Broner from taking a bit of the spotlight.

Minutes after coasting into a unanimous decision against Carlos Molina on the undercard of the Mayweather-Maidana fight Saturday, Broner outdid himself with his words.

After the fight was over, the 24-year-old spoke in the ring with Showtime’s Jim Gray about how easy he felt the fight was, quickly entering a profanity-laced rant that prompted a lot of boos from the fans, the NY Daily News reported.

“I’ve beaten Africans and I just beat the f--- out of a Mexican,” Broner told Gray, in reference to Molina, who is Argentinian and of Mexican descent and was born in Commerce, Calif.

Amid boos from the crowd, Broner smirked and Gray took issue with the boxer’s words, reprimanding him.

Broner then discussed the possibility of facing top boxers like Manny Paquiao in the future.

In the main fight of the night, Mayweather beat Maidana in a 12-round bout in a majoring decision.
