New York man to be sentenced for threatening Obama
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A New York man will be sentenced on Dec. 21 for threatening President Obama.
Thirty-one-year-old Brandon Correa of Rochester pleaded guilty on Tuesday to threatening Obama. He faces up to five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
In June of 2014, Correa tweeted at Obama, "Im [sic] coming to watch you die," according to the Justice Department. Later, Correa told Secret Service agents that Obama is "evil" and must "die."
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Two months later, Correa took to social media again to threaten the president, posting on Facebook and Twitter: "GET READY to DIE Barack Obama."
