Former DC Mayor Barry hospitalized in Las Vegas
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}Former District of Columbia Mayor Marion Barry has been hospitalized in Las Vegas.
Barry is currently a District of Columbia councilmember. His chief of staff told The Associated Press on Monday that Barry is resting comfortably and is expected to make a full recovery.
The 76-year-old Barry told WRC-TV that he developed a blood clot. He also mentioned the blood clot on his Twitter account Sunday night, saying it developed while he was waiting on a plane in Memphis, Tenn., on the way to Las Vegas. He told WRC that it had no impact on his "physical feeling or mental ability."
