Coons Puts O'Donnell in Twilight Zone in Latest Ad
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}WASHINGTON -- Democratic Senate nominee Chris Coons of Delaware portrays rival Christine O'Donnell as something from "The Twilight Zone" in a new campaign ad.
The ad opens with music from the 1960s television show and a narrator saying O'Donnell "says a lot of strange things." It plays clips of her famous "I'm not a witch" commercial, her comment that evolution is a myth and a remark she made about scientists crossbreeding humans and mice.
It ends by saying Coons cut costs as a county executive and held property taxes to among the lowest levels in the region. It doesn't mention that he raised the tax rate by 54 percent.
