5 stabbed on California college campus
{{#rendered}} {{/rendered}}A man stabbed five people Wednesday morning at the University of California, Merced.
The assailant attacked four students and one other person on campus shortly before 8 a.m. PST, according to a police spokesperson.
Two people were airlifted to nearby hospitals in the San Joaquin region while the three other individuals were treated on campus, according to a statement made by the university. As of Wednesday afternoon, there were no fatalities.
