Just when you think the Chargers QB room can't get more interesting, along comes Stephanie Niles
I'm sure you're starting to get tired of hearing about the Chargers and their drama, but I have no choice here because the team went out Wednesday and signed Jake Browning. Why is that news? Because that means Jake's wife, Stephanie, is coming with him.
Who is Stephanie? She's the influencer hopeful who made headlines in 2024 when Jake was starting for the Bengals due to a Joe Burrow injury. Stephanie wore this to a January game and she became a Screencaps star.
Now she's going to L.A. to team up with Madison Beer as the NFL's Hottest QB WAG Combo of 2026.
The way things are going with the Chargers at 0-5, it's entirely possible that Jake Browning is starting for this team by the first week of December. It wouldn't shock me if the Chargers shut down Herbert early.

Am I crazy: I will watch QVC to avoid political commercials at least 30 minutes per night
*Disclaimer: I work for Fox Corp. Political ads pay part of my salary somewhere along the way, so I'm not telling you guys to stop watching Fox products – you're damn right I was watching the ALCS last night!
But, I'm human. I need a break from the political commercials just like you guys. Here's my remedy: Pivot to QVC for 30 minutes. Give yourself a break. Let yourself relax as some guy cuts a ham and/or turkey and scoops sides of mac and cheese out of a Temptations casserole dish.
I'm not buying the food. I'm literally using QVC as an escape. Do the math on how much the sides and ham cost and how you could make the meal much cheaper. Sit back and relax while avoiding political ads FOR 30 MINUTES as you switch back and forth just to give yourself a small break.

The story is that a guy I know from golf trips ran his massive boat up on a sandbar the other night. Three hours later, his yacht was off the sandbar, but it came with a massive bill.

Most marine towing companies will charge anywhere from $300-$600/hr, and that starts from when they untie to when they tie back up. A soft ungrounding can run anywhere from $1500 to $3500. Bottom line: It depends.
Now, there are programs you can join - BoatUS for example - where you pay for an annual membership and they'll pull your sorry ass off the sandbar as part of the annual membership. A lot of captains think, "I'll never need that!" Until they do.
He likely has insurance, and should put in a claim. Insurance carriers are often able to negotiate a better rate for the tow, if he was indeed getting gouged.

I'm blown away by the drop between 1995 and 2026 on the number of people having people over to their house. Is it because you're afraid of being judged? That's my guess. Is it a worry that you won't make food that's up to par?
