(The Proper Pinwheel)

A white mug Small paintbrush Porcelain paint in any color you prefer The mugs I used can be found here. The porcelain paint can be found at your local Michaels store — and it's on clearance! I went with the turquoise because it comes out like a dark navy. (The Proper Pinwheel)

Shake the bottle and then open up. Use the lid to hold a little bit of the paint. Dip the circular end of your paintbrush in the paint and get crackin'. (The Proper Pinwheel)

The painting process takes about 30 minutes from start to finish. When the paint is dry, bake your mug at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 to 35 minutes. Soon enough, you'll have a cute new cup that you can brag about. It also makes the perfect gift for a friend! Have fun! (The Proper Pinwheel)
