New 'Jersey Shore' Cast Member Is a New Jersey Native, Uses N-Word

Deena Nicole, left, will join the cast of 'Jersey Shore' during season three of the MTV show.

The cast of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is welcoming another Jersey girl to the ranks.

Unlike most of the cast, Deena Nicole Cortese, 23, is a tried and true Jersey girl, hailing from New Egypt, NJ. According to a report from the New York Post, Cortese will replace Angelina Pivarnick in the third season of the runaway hit.

Cortese describes herself as “f**king classy” and “addictive and expensiv3 lik3 cocaine.” A MySpace page for the former Brookdale Community College cheerleader shows her in various provocative poses, where she is seen scantily clad, often kissing her female friends and holding a bottle of liquor.

TMZ obtained a video of Cortese, who is a friend of castmember Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, recorded in 2008 that shows her using the N-word. In it, she addresses a group of unidentified males who have scorned her, saying “we’re gonna play you out, n****.”

Sources tell TMZ that Cortese is not an official permanent cast-member just yet, but will appear in a number of episodes during season three. Last weekend, TMZ cameras caught Cortese and Snooki chugging down beer from a funnel bong.

Last week, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie slammed the show for casting a “negative” light on his state.

“What it does is it takes a bunch of New Yorkers . . . drops them at the Jersey Shore and tries to make America feel like this is New Jersey," Christie said.
